Ten years ago, I posted this photo with no pretensions at all, simply as a way to express a landscape and a feeling I had at that moment. Who would have thought that a decade later, I’d be here, completely in love with everything I’ve created?
Over these last 10 years, so much has happened. What started as a way to cope with depression at 20 eventually became a part of who I am. I never needed to explain exactly how I felt; my edits and my words always spoke for themselves, making my emotions clear the moment they were shared.
Throughout this decade, I’ve met new people, let go of others, fell in love, and had regrets. I lost my grandmother, who was my main support system, and finally, last year, I managed to forgive myself and be reborn. I’ve reached a new, permanent version of myself one that no one can tear down.
For ten years now, my purpose of giving a new meaning to "darkness" has been working. I never did this for follower counts, money, or anything of the sort. Everything I’ve created has been with love, affection, and soul. Currently, I use AI as a tool for image generation, but I’ve never stopped taking photos of landscapes because I make a point of capturing the raw feeling of the moment, whether it’s good or bad and I never will stop.
If I could go back in time, I would tell that 20-year-old "darkness": "We made it. Don’t give up. I know it hurts so much right now, but you will find the strength. We’ll deal with the grief, one step at a time. But trust me, it will be worth it."
And a phrase for me to never forget, and for you reading this: "Life is a climb, but the view is great!"
Thank you for every bit of support, every like, every comment, every private conversation, and for never letting go of my hand. I am eternally grateful to each one of you! Here’s to 10, 20, 30 more years.
Darkness will never die; darkness will live forever!
