Reliance will be the giant representing India soon…and I don’t think there’s anything wrong about it unless you’re a stupid idealist.

Come with me to celebrate Festive Diwali @jumeirahcarltontower hosted by @tildarice and @madhusofmayfair.

Diwali, or the Festival of Lights, is a festival that symbolises the triumph of good over evil, light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance. Lanterns and diyas are lit to brighten the darker autumn evenings, while friends and family gather around warming feasts to share food and reconnect.

@madhusofmayfair offers guests a refined interpretation of India’s rich culinary landscape, reimagined through the signature hospitality of Jumeirah Carlton Tower, a natural global gathering place, bringing together the joy of sharing, meaningful experiences and exceptional food.

The event showcased a collection of festive products, including @tildarice, violinist, dj’s and live performances from magic and artists, drinks and canapés, and decorations was breathtaking. Also some goody bags to be handed out after the event.

Thank you so much @thecreatorstableuk for inviting me for this wonderful event🤍 Truly magical and unforgettable!

Have you ever wondered how one sentence can completely change the future of a relationship?👀🤔

A wedding day is usually filled with smiles, hope, and the promise of a new beginning. But for one bride, it became the shortest chapter of her married life.

In 2019, at a courthouse in Kuwait, a couple had just signed their official marriage papers. As they were leaving the courtroom, the bride accidentally stumbled over her wedding gown. Instead of helping or comforting her, the groom reportedly mocked her and called her “stupid” in front of their families and court staff.

The bride immediately decided she did not want to begin married life with that kind of treatment. She turned around, went straight back to the judge, and requested that the marriage be dissolved. The judge granted her request on the spot, making it one of the shortest marriages ever reported.

The incident quickly gained worldwide attention, with many people discussing the importance of kindness and mutual respect in a relationship. While opinions varied, the story sparked conversations about how people should treat each other, especially during life’s biggest moments.

This remarkable incident reminds us that love is not measured by a ceremony or a signature. Sometimes, the smallest actions and words reveal the kind of respect, care, and understanding that truly matter in a lifelong relationship.
