Last year we were hired to make prosthetic blood effects, fake dummies, props and vfx lighting models for the recent Clayface movie. I will post more Clayface items over the coming weeks in-between current jobs when I get time to get through some images etc. but for now this post shows the Clayface vfx lighting creature costume we were asked to build. This was to help for framing and shadows and for vfx to animate over. We had around two weeks from getting a scan of Creature performer @spencerwilding to turn this around. We had to sculpt all parts seperate and fabricate them to fit. Didn’t have time to core the suit out in the mould so cut out excess foam from the inside to create cavities for Spencer to be able to move around comfortably. All hands were on deck for this one. Thanks @motherofrowie for getting us onboard to begin with. A young woman who had been chasing her dream of becoming a pilot since childhood has been identified by her family as one of nine people killed in Sunday’s devastating plane crash in Palm Beach County, Florida. 💔 Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, 20, earned her pilot’s license at just 17 years old while still attending high school. She had reportedly logged more than 1,300 flight hours and was working as a commercial pilot. On November 1, Nathalia was serving as co-pilot aboard a private Learjet traveling from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas when the aircraft suddenly began losing altitude and crashed near a residential neighborhood, erupting into flames. All nine people aboard lost their lives. In the moments before the crash, the flight crew reported turbulence and ice buildup before issuing a desperate emergency call. Investigators have not yet determined what caused the aircraft to go down. Nathalia’s family remembered her passion for aviation and how proud she was to have accomplished so much at such a young age. Prayers to all nine families affected by this tragedy. 🕊️ Stay connected with more entertainment news and trending stories at OnsiteGlobalMedia.us (link in bio).
