The voice behind Edna Mode… isn’t who you expect 😂🎬
In The Incredibles (2004), the iconic fashion designer Edna Mode — known for her sharp attitude and unforgettable “NO CAPES!” line — was actually voiced by the film’s director, Brad Bird.
Originally, Bird only recorded the voice as a placeholder to guide other actors. But once the team heard it, they realized… no one could do it better.
