βοΈ When Elspeth returns to her hometown of Geelong from living in New York for decades it's not for a happy visit. Her Mother Simone is missing. Together with her Sister Aoife, they have to find out what happened to Simone in the lead up to her disappearance where lingering trauma will be openly revealed.
What a Stunning and Thrilling read. It was Addictive and Unputdownable. I found myself finishing it in a very short amount of time. Highly recommend!
The storyline was Appealing, Compelling and full of Contemporary and Profound Elements that Captured my Attention from the beginning. The use of the letter writing added an element of Authenticity and Intimacy to the story.
The writing was Eloquent, Clever and the Suspense Factor Shrewd as I found myself guessing to the end. I relished the Melbourne setting as well as Significant themes of Family Dynamics, Childhood Trauma and Motherhood that were Thoughtfully Explored.
The characters were Richly Developed and Expressed Depth and Multiple Facets which created a lot of Psychological Perceptiveness.
Thank you
