There are places that don’t just inspire your art, they reshape it.

Grateful to have been part of the National Painters Camp in Gulmarg, where every brushstroke felt deeper, every color more honest, and every conversation more meaningful. Surrounded by mountains, silence, and some incredibly talented artists, this experience reminded me why I started creating in the first place.

Gulmarg stayed with me long after I left. The stillness of the ice, the quiet strength of the mountains, and the raw, untamed presence of the mountain horses found their way into this piece. This work is an abstract interpretation of that landscape. It is less about what was seen and more about what was felt. Layers, textures, and movement come together to capture the contrast between calm and power, silence and energy.

“Vision Bharat @ 2047” wasn’t just a theme, it became a dialogue between tradition and possibility, between where we come from and where we’re headed.

Carrying back not just paintings, but perspective. 🤍🎨
