This was the first “fast” car I’d ever driven at 16 back in 1987. My uncle bought one and it was kind of a miracle. Unlike every other Japanese car of the 80s these had substance, these had “ass”. I’m kind of shocked these and conquests don’t have a WAY bigger cult following. They are the most iconically “Japanese” looking machine ever made. Those slider seat belts are annoying though.

I used to be a service manager for Mitsubishi franchise. The Benston occurs when the head gasket goes bad, which is very very very common. That’s a big project. You did a good job. Love the color.

The first DSM 😍 HELL YEAH BROTHER. I bet parts were hell to find. I'm doing a 1975 Celica right now and it's rough.
