How sweet it is to be surrounded by people who care about you. That in moments where you make poor life choices, they will rebuke you with love, or maybe join you in the chaos and then regret it later together. That in conflict, they are willing to put egos aside and confront with gentleness. They will walk with you anyway even if they’ve seen your not-so-pretty side and then call you out on it again and then hold you accountable.

Even more than that, it’s an even deeper blessing to know you’re being covered in prayer. To know that someone is intentionally asking God to cover you in His grace and mercy and wisdom. “Lord, please cover this person in Your presence and give them the strength to keep the faith.” There is so much strength and encouragement to know that you are prayed for because there is so much love and care that comes from that.

There has been an overwhelmingness of gratitude and joy lately because what I once prayed for (for a long time) is what I’m living in now. Although there are quirks to it and lessons to still be learned (or unlearned), I am blessed. Life is meant to be fully lived with Jesus who sees, hears, and knows, and truly loves.
