Allah (SWT) says "do not be sad" 9 times in the Qur'an.
Look at who He said it to.

A mother placing her newborn in a river. (28:7)
Maryam, alone in labour beneath a palm tree. (19:24)
The Prophet (PBUH) in the cave with Abu Bakr, enemies standing at the entrance. (9:40)
The Prophet (PBUH) again, grieving over the people who turned away from him. (16:127)
The believers after Uhud, wounded and mourning. (3:139)

These are the strongest people in our history, and every one of them felt sad.
Not once does the Qur'an blame them for it.

Every time, the words come with something from Him. The mother is promised her son back. Water runs at Maryam's feet. Sakinah descends in the cave.

Your sadness is not proof that your iman is failing. In the Qur'an, it is the very moment Allah chose to speak.

This is some of the worst defending you’ll ever see in the Premier League 😳🤯. Morgan Rogers’ opening goal for Chelsea in their 2-0 victory over Manchester United may have looked like a great solo goal featuring a deft chipped finish, but the reality shows just how embarrassing United’s defending really well. After receiving the ball in the centre circle, the England international was allowed to simply run in a straight line towards goal without a single challenge being offered. In fact, United’s midfield and defence appeared to move out of his way to let him through. The goal was captured on ref cam which, close up, makes it look even worse for Michael Carrick’s players. It’s hard to believe this goal was conceded in a Premier League game. The polar opposite of the ref cam footage we saw from El Clasico, last week 😂
