Maybe I like horses because I see something symbolic in them. There’s something tragic about seeing a creature built with power, grace, spirit and intelligence simply reduced to function. Maybe that’s why they fascinate me. The world is fond of turning everything majestic into utility and calling it normal. Not just horses. Everything with potential.
