COLUMN: “Presidents from both parties have suffered midterm shellackings, but never until 2026 has a president been so single-handedly responsible for the wave that’s about to crash over the GOP,” writes our @jmartroad. The story of this midterm will be written by the voters who Trump drove away, Martin writes, and the Republicans who tolerated his buffoonery as long as he kept the economy afloat and didn’t plunge the country into costly wars. ㅤ “He did neither. And when the election season neared, he sent his party toward machine gun nests armed with butter knives.” Ahead of tonight, read Martin’s Election Day column at the link in our bio. ㅤ 📸 Francis Chung/POLITICO
⏳ If you believe in players being due... These guys have the most receptions this season without scoring a touchdown. Who’s finding the end zone this week? 👀
