🇦🇺 So proud of @wildstyles_madi and so great to see the pitbull back in her game! Her relentless pressure almost got the job done against 15 of the best girls in the world 12 and under, she was unfortunately caught out by a Kimura in the semi final by a very talented girl who went on to win the gold and title in her next match. Madi was upset, but came back and showed she belonged on that podium winning a well deserved 3rd place bronze medal!

At just 10 years old, and only just being pushed up to this division because her birthday was a few weeks before the cutoff, we are so proud of her very first international competition going so well!

Thankyou to her coaches and team from @theacademybyronbay and @cmbttrainingcentre for all the preparation before her biggest comp ever. She was very happy using multiple moves recently learnt from both teams leading up to the comp. Back into the lab for Madi as she works to build on her own special and unique style 💪🐾

Also a special mention to coach @masteroogwade who started Madi and her sister on their BJJ journey over 4 years ago and got them absolutely hooked! It was always a big plan for them both to compete at ADCC worlds and although he is no longer their coach, he continues to offer so much guidance and support without any question! We know one day they will both stand proud on that number 1 podium, and we will always have him to thank for their excellent base and huge passion for the sport!
