Being baptized on Easter Sunday honestly feels like such an honor, I don’t even really know how to put it into words. My faith has been such a journey… like full of challenges, trials, and moments where I really didn’t know how I was gonna get through it, but it was only through Him and Him alone that I’ve been saved and carried through everything.

And I just keep thinking about all the people He’s placed in my life along the way. The babies at church and at the YMCA…The kids who trust me, who let me love on them, and nurture them…it just means the world to me.

Miss Allison, who gave me my first Bible at summer camp… Mr. Chris and Ms. Carla who take me out to coffee, speak the word and the truth, and lastly Miss Gale, who would feed me verses every day when I walked into work, saw I was hurting, hugged me and never let me go… they all showed me something I really needed to understand, that I don’t have to be perfect for God to love me, and I’m not too tainted or too broken to be saved. The paths hard, but the journeys never easy for the best things to come…
