Devtal or Deo Tal 🔱, nestled near Mana Pass, is more than a lake locals believe it carries a quiet divine energy. It is said that devtas used to take a sacred bath here, which is why it came to be known as Dev Taal. Even today, the still waters feel blessed, as if holding echoes of something divine.
The journey begins from Mana Village near Badrinath, slowly unfolding into a path where nature turns raw and deeply spiritual. And further ahead rises Mana Pass one of the highest motorable passes in the world, standing tall at around 5,600 meters.
Here, the air is thin, the silence is deep, and every step feels closer to something beyond words.
Note: You need an Inner Line Permit from the SDM office in Joshimath to visit this region.
