I appreciate that. It really started over a year ago. I had someone on whatnot basically talking shit about me for over a year. All the usual tropes about my kind. Lie after lie. I addressed it on my shows twice. Funny thing is it was someone who I had introduced to the platform and at the beginning of our very short relationship had praised me as being “her favorite stylist ever” and the one who gave her the encouragement to start doing it herself. It happened before with my brick & mortar store. I realize that most people prefer fake shallow people who pretend to be whatever it is they need to at any given time. It’s been a difficult year because my health faltered and things got very backed up. But here’s the good news. Im back. I’m getting better. I’m cleaning out. I’m choosing my quality and my eye over the herds of cattle that moo their bullshit like a slick car salesman. I am thankful to learn on a deeper level the things I knew before.i am thankful that I know my worth and value. No matter how much erasure comes my way. Everyone has their rights to ideologies and practices. But there are lines that no one will cross with me. Especially now at this time when trans humans are being hunted down and slaughtered. You better surprise me or be very quick. If not your people are gonna have to get out their Sunday best to put you in the ground.
