“Making the film for us became a way to hold onto something intangible. A touchstone for a period of our lives. We didn’t want to define it too rigidly, as that might confine it in essence. Our goal wasn’t to answer questions or impart wisdom, but more to remind ourselves of that quiet message from Alan: that it’s okay to just be. To find contentment with the moment you’re in and call that enough.”
