Luna Rivera

I’m so excited and blessed to announce my verbal commitment to play NCAA Division 1 soccer and my further education at Central Michigan University!!!

First I would like to thank my parents and my family for their consistent love, dedication, and endless support to chase my dreams. The sacrifices and encouragement have truly shaped me into the person and player I am today. I am beyond grateful and I couldn’t have done this without all of you. To my friends and teammates thank you for pushing me to be at my best and being my biggest supporters. Words cannot express how thankful I am to have you all in my life.

I want to thank the clubs Coastal FC and Surrey United Soccer Club for welcoming me into your home. Thank you to all my coaches past and present who have helped me through this journey over the years. Coach Mariah, Coach Walle, Coach Troye, Coach Rob, Coach Brit, Coach Steve, Coach Nour, and Coach Mark thank you all for believing in me with all the endless opportunities and constantly pushing me to be the best player I can be.

next, I want to thank @gfc_training. Coach Dhani, I can’t express how grateful I am to have you as a coach. I would not be where I am today without you. The support from you is so unmatched and I am blessed to have you by my side.

thank you @semiahmooathleticclub for the love and kindness you all carry. @scalifit thank you for putting in the time and effort with me and everyone around you. @snatchesandsamosas your time and dedication through it all. @elizabethyeephysio thank you for keeping me healthy and in the best shape for me to play.

To @gcnmfootball graham, without your guidance through this recruiting process I would be so lost. Your knowledge and experience is irreplaceable. I am forever grateful for you and thank you for helping me find my home.

Last but not least, thank you Coach DeCosemo, Coach Wheelock, and Coach Smith and the entire CMU staff for this amazing opportunity and for believing in me. I can’t wait to call CMU home! FIRE UP CHIPS!!! ❤️ 💛🔥
