Travellers in the true essence have the power to travel across timelines. For some, travelling might mean tick off a place from their list, for some revisiting the same place multiple times to relive old memories. But for me, it has been the very essence of life. Travelling is about living in the moment, having no idea about where you are headed tomorrow.
Its about finally meeting fellow travellers and realizing that you are not alone whose mind is wired the nomadic way. Its about singing 'sweet caroline' at the top of your voice with people who actually knows what the song is about.
Its not just ticking off a place or clicking pictures of every beautiful corner. Its about immersing in the art, local language, fiddeling over how to eat that strange looking dish presented to you, learning about history and finally be able to forget who you were when you came here. Coz with every travel you become a new person, a new version of you. Every travel takes you to a new timeline of your life.
And this is exactly when one starts romanticizing the world, put poetry in the sunsets, art in the snowfall and perhaps some adventure in the soul.
