When I worked at the Writers Guild in residuals collections I had a button left over from the previous staff union (which was dissolved before my time there). I put it on my cubicle wall. I wasn’t even trying to restart the union. I just had it as a memento of WGAW history and I was viciously targeted. There needs to be legal protections in place for union staff.
