São Paulo reminds me so much of The Philippines, weather, malls, traffic 🥲 and the hustle of Brasileiros - minus the pão de queijo (easily ate more than a dozen) and catupiry requeijão 😅 - also found out my name is a street in SP (last slide) 💚 Até logo Brasil 🇧🇷

Americans across the country are voting in Tuesday’s midterm elections, where major polls and prediction markets predict Democrats will win the majority of both House and Senate seats. Republicans hold a 53–47 Senate majority, so Democrats need to gain four seats to take control. Key Senate races are in Alaska, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Michigan, Ohio, Texas, and North Carolina. Current polling from @nytimes/Siena and traders on the prediction market Kalshi expect Democrats to win the Senate races in all these states, except Iowa, where polling shows a toss-up. We will also be following Senate races in Georgia, New Hampshire, and South Carolina. President Trump has urged voters this midterm cycle to act as if he were on the ballot and has cast Democratic candidates as far-left radicals. Meanwhile, many Democrats have centered campaigns on blaming Trump for cost-of-living issues. The elections will therefore be a major test of where voters stand on Trump’s second term.
