There's something special about sailing! ❤️ It can't be forced or rushed because mother nature and wind are beyond our control/influence. We can only harness it. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lost his parliamentary majority, preventing him from advancing legislation and, for now, forming a government. Netanyahu’s Likud-led alliance secured 53 seats in the 120-member Knesset, falling short of the 61 required to govern with a majority. Opposition parties secured 48 seats, while Arab-led parties won 19, giving Netanyahu’s opponents a potential parliamentary majority but not yet a unified governing coalition. Netanyahu remains prime minister in a caretaker capacity and retains significant executive authority, including responsibility for national security, foreign affairs and military operations. However, his weakened parliamentary position threatens his ability to advance legislation and implement his political agenda. President Isaac Herzog is expected to oversee the next stage of government formation following certification of the election results. If political leaders fail to assemble a coalition capable of winning parliamentary confidence, Israel could face another election.
