One tip if they are too light for the sensors to engage. Enable posi/treat both sensors as one in vesctool but also enable reverse stop (simple stop) the latter is very important. This way they can backup a bit if they want to stop. I also always enable 'Disable moving faults when my kids are riding' this way if the sensor fails to detect them when they are moving the board wont just stop it will keep going until the backup and stop. But these settings (all 3) must be set together. Unless its really dangerous and the board can ghost and keep going until it hits something.
