a memory I’ll cherish forever 🕺🫶🏻
A few years ago I was on a trip with some friends of mine and we went to Disney springs! We decided to goof off and dance and have fun in this empty space outside while we waited for our other friends to meet up with us. While we were dancing around and goofing off, this sweet couple behind us asked, “Are yall dancers? Ya’ll are really good!” Which was so sweet of them to say!! The husband then asked if I could teach him a dance move. But not just any move, there was a dance move he said he’s been wanting to learn for years but didn’t know anyone who knew how to do it or the name. So he tried explaining it the best of his ability. It sounded like he was explaining the Charleston.
I then showed him and he squealed, “THAT’S IT! COULD YOU TEACH ME!”
I was so honored and also touched he wanted to not only learn and was so eager but have someone he just met and who’s way younger teach him! I said, “YES! Of course!”…and my friend was secretly recording me, so when she showed me she got this moment on film, I literally wanted to cry 😭🥹🫶🏻
His smile while learning and even afterwards was a moment I’ll never forget. He had a child likeness inside of him that was so refreshing to see!! 🥹🥹
