This weekend, Rehearsal Director and longtime company member @tessismadfierce took her final bow with Jacksonville Dance Theatre during her closing performance of JDT & Friends on The Florida Theatre @floridatheatre stage.
For the past decade, Tess has been an integral part of JDT’s story — contributing her artistry, leadership, and passion as a company dancer, media manager, rehearsal director, and choreographer. Since joining the company in Season 4, she has helped shape not only the work onstage, but the community behind it.
Her presence, creativity, and dedication will leave a lasting impact on JDT, and while we will miss her deeply, we are so excited to see where her next chapter leads.

Yay @tessismadfierce congrats! It was such a privilege to have shared the stage with such an incredible artist like yourself. My favorite memory dancing with you was our duet in “As I Remember It” by Kristen Sholes Sullivan.
