whojahbless

since the sweet conception of my being
my soul has sought it’s meaning.

a journey soon to begin.

a path my ancestors carefully paved and God ordained.

as i reverence those who have so graciously carried me along the way.

i am reminded that heavy is the head who wears the crown.

though trials may arrive
yet and still i stand.

i will remain a faithful spirit.

i do this in remembrance of you.
