Well well .. I guess the secret is out! Knitters (and crocheters?) arent doing what you think at the yarn store. When you’re in your happy place, you enjoy it. No rushing and budget is a fictional concept.

No .. we have 2 tracks : 1. Buy supplies for our project 2. Buy everything else that has nothing to do with any project because we like it ! ( that’s how we stay broke btw !)

I feel so seen! Buy aaall the pretty yarn. And the pretty needles just in case. My trick is to go to the shop on foot or by bike and only bring one bag and a limited amount of cash, so I set myself boundaries in advance that i can't break.
