The company’s new strategy underscores Google’s powerful role in American education. A.I. features are now a standard part of Google’s commercially available search engine. “Search and A.I. are deeply integrated,” said Chris Phillips, vice president for education at Google. Elizabeth Holmes told TODAY in 2016 that she had "no doubt" her company Theranos would survive. The company sought to revolutionize blood testing, partnering with Walgreens to offer fast in-store blood tests for more than 20 diseases at a cheaper price than what they traditionally cost, due to secret technology. In a conversation with Maria Shriver, Holmes addressed questions that emerged about her product’s accuracy. Accusations came out that Theranos’ technology was faulty and Holmes was convicted in 2022 of four federal charges of wire fraud for misrepresenting to investors what the Theranos technology could do. Now, the documentary “You Can See Everything” has brought Holmes back to the public eye.
A man identified as Farman was arrested in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend when she refused to accept gifts from him. The incident reportedly took place on October 23, while CCTV footage of the assault surfaced on social media on November 2. The footage shows the woman waiting at an isolated location as Farman arrives carrying two gift bags. When she refuses to accept them, he allegedly starts slapping and beating her before throwing the bags away and leaving the spot. The woman is later seen kicking the gift bags towards a drain. Following the incident and a complaint from the woman's family, Civil Lines Police registered a case and arrested Farman on November 2. He was subsequently sent to jail, while further investigation is underway. #rvcjinsta
