I Am Supporting Peter Obi Strictly Because He Is Igbo. Not because I hear the intelligence coming out of his mouth — Rapper SpeedDarlington

Nigerian singer Speed Darlington has declared his intention to support Peter Obi in the 2027 presidential election, stating that his decision is based strictly on tribal affiliation rather than the former Anambra State governor’s intelligence.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, the singer said:

“I am going to support Peter obi for president. Not because I see or hear the intelligence coming out of his mouth. I am supporting peter obi strictly because of tribe, because he is igbo”

He also questioned the achievements of other presidential hopefuls, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, while expressing reservations about having another Fulani president.

“The devil you know is better than the devil you don’t know. Atiku and amaechi has been state men for years, what did they accomplish?. Who even wants a Fulani president?”

Speed Darlington further criticised Nigerian politicians for continuing to use road infrastructure as a campaign talking point, describing it as embarrassing that such promises remain relevant in 2026.

“Shame on all Nigerian politicians for still using road to campaign. It a big shame in 2026”

I love creating creepy cosplays for Halloween.

This time, I started wondering: what truly terrifies people?

The first thing that came to mind was the infamous sleep paralysis demon that some people see at night.

I’ve never had one visit me, so I decided to become one myself.

‘I VOTED’ stickers are filling up the Alex Pretti & Renee Good Memorials in Minneapolis, Minnesota 💜

As Minnesotans headed to the polls on Tuesday, some paid tribute to Renee Good and Alex Pretti, two U.S. citizens who were killed by federal agents in January, by leaving their “I voted” stickers at their respective memorials

Minneapolis resident Peg Ihinger, who affixed her early voting sticker to a picture at Pretti’s memorial, said she’s glad people are “really fired up to vote.”
“I just want this nightmare to end for our city and for our country,” she said. “And damn it, they shouldn’t have died. None of them should have died.”

A record number of Minnesotans voted early in this year’s midterm, with over 983,500 ballots cast through Tuesday morning, according to the secretary of state.
