Maya Byrd

After my 5 years I can say that in every lifetime I will choose Old Dominion University! It took so much mental strength and struggle but, I am proof that you can do what you set your mind too. This journey has been by far one of the most changing, eventful and draining experiences I have been though. However, I would do it all again in order to experience the connections, love and friendships. Black Women make up only 7% of the population, I am now representing those women.

Thank you to everyone who has worked so hard to support me and helping through these rough years. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU ODU💙🦁
