UConn long snapper David LaGanga made the trip to Eau Claire, WI to chase perfection!

David and I have been working together since his days at Lehigh when he was still a backup. Since then, we’ve made major adjustments that helped him earn the starting job, transfer to Kentucky, and now finish out his final season at UConn.

Throughout this journey, David has continued to improve because he’s committed to the process. He asks questions, works hard to understand the “why,” and puts in the time to train and trust his movement.

During these sessions, our biggest focus was creating fluid length through the snap. Like a lot of long snappers, David’s tendency is to compact everything and move too quickly. But when he slows down, smooths things out, and accelerates naturally, the ball is undeniably better.

We introduced a few new drills to help reinforce those corrections and made sure he left with a clear plan for what to focus on during break. David and I will continue working virtually to help him have his best season yet.

Keep chasing perfection. Go unnoticed.
