Dear KU,

Looking back on these four years, as I leave this chapter behind, I’m carrying every lesson, friendship, heartbreak, success, & every version of myself that existed here. KU gave me so much more than a degree. It gave me memories I’ll carry forever, people & experiences that changed my life & shaped me into who I am today. Through every setback & every milestone, this place became home. ❤️💙

To my friends,
I don’t think you guys will ever fully understand how much you changed my life🥹🤍. You saw me at my absolute worst & somehow still chose to stay. You celebrated me when I couldn’t celebrate myself. You made me feel at home when everything else felt uncertain. Thank you for loving me through every phase of figuring out who I was becoming. I would not be the person I am today without you guys. I am so grateful that I have friends that make leaving KU so hard. i’ll always miss this version of life where all of us are together, figuring everything out side by side. I love you all & am so proud of you🤍

To the younger version of me,
The girl who walked onto campus not knowing everything she’d have to face, you made it :) The girl who struggled, the girl who healed, the girl who never thought she’d change her major, who got to celebrate accomplishments surrounded by unconditional love, who found her forever people, who faced losing people but kept going anyway. YOU. MADE. IT. maybe not perfectly, & definitely not traditionally but I am so proud & grateful you kept going.
