I've hiked to the river 4 times and was 76 the last time. force yourself to stop along the way to observe the awesomeness of this place

Im part of the 1% hiked down, camped overnight, hiked back up next day. Gorgeous!

Rim to Rim to Rim… 65 miles of non stop beauty, history, geology and wilderness. The trail up (and down) the N Rim is not for the faint of heart! We stayed the night in the old Yurt; it was snowing and surreal!
