One thing out of experience. The older buildings such as Mayo and Lady Willingdon designs from pre-airconditioning era were more suited to our climate than the newer buildings relying on air-conditioning and a cubby hole feel when the power is out.

I was there as a student. Haven't been there for decades now. My grandfather used to head that department around the time of partition.
