Flashback Friday: From back when I could write a poem in under a dozen lines.

Then came a time when the titles went really long despite my best efforts. The latest ones I wrote for NaPoWriMo 2026 are impossibly long. The kind that ask for a comfy chair, a cup of tea or coffee and more importantly, the kind of headspace and concentration that are getting rarer by the day.

You will (hopefully) see them in a literary journal in due time, till then here’s something from when my poem and poem titles both tended to be brief.
