Every year of parenthood comes with its own set of challenges. As Theo turns 5 this year, the lines I hear the most are "I want to show papa!" "Can you take a video and send to papa please?" "Is papa coming home? On the way home yet?" " I miss my papa. Can you message him please?".

This season, he has been shouldering everything while I figure things out on my end. All the late night breakdowns I have, the insecurities in how I look and feel, the not feeling enough, he held me through it all like a wise warrior.

One word of wisdom from this man makes my heavy heart lighter and clears my foggy mind. And I am so blessed he is a man of many wise words. He has no complaints when he needed to work through the night and wake up early for work the next day. Nor does he complain about working on the weekends (yeah he went to work today after church).

After almost 20 years together, the love and understanding we have has only grown deeper. Life threw us many curve balls the past year but I'm so glad to be doing life with you.. blessed father's my love...
