Happy Father’s Day to my wonderful Dad! Last month, we went on a road trip visiting some of his old stomping grounds. We also visited both my grandparents graves. The memories, stories, and laughter were priceless! I love you, Dad!

The most gorgeous rattan baskets for storage match the light oak internals and honestly it’s a beautiful small and practical space! Slightly annoyed my husband hasn’t shared his half with me… yet 🤣

A bit about my dress:

From the Fall Winter 2026 collection The Gabriela Hearst Autumn Winter 2026 collection pays homage to Eglantyne Jebb, an intrepid humanitarian whose work has touched more than one billion children in over one hundred countries since she founded Save the Children in 1919.

Gabriela is an ambassador to save the children and has been working with the organization since 2017. Every year (this year will be the eighth consecutive year) from Dec 1 to 25 she donates net proceeds from her own stores and websites to children’s emergency fund.

The Remarried Empress

Navier (Shin Min-A) is the Empress of the Eastern Empire, admired for her intelligence, grace, and natural elegance. She lives a peaceful life alongside her husband, Emperor Sovieshu (Ju Ji-Hoon).

Although Navier does not love Sovieshu romantically, she cares for him as a close friend and family. They grew up together, spending most of their childhood side by side and sharing the same dream of building a great empire.

However, their relationship begins to change when Sovieshu brings a runaway slave named Rashta (Lee Se-Young) into the palace and takes her as his mistress, breaking the promise he once made to Navier that he would never take a concubine.

Meanwhile, Prince Heinrey (Lee Jong Suk), the first heir to the throne of the Western Kingdom, belongs to a royal clan that possesses the secret ability to transform into birds. After taking the form of a bird,
Heinrey travels to the Eastern Empire to spy on the palace. There, he encounters Empress Navier and gradually falls in love with her.

When Navier receives a divorce notice from Emperor Sovieshu, who has fallen in love with Rashta, she refuses to simply accept her fate. Instead, Navier makes an unexpected request-she asks Sovieshu for permission to remarry Prince Heinrey of the Western Kingdom.
