Thousands of people from Meitei, Naga and other indigenous communities took to the streets across Imphal, Senapati and Chandel on October 31, demanding government accountability amid continuing unrest in Manipur. The rallies were organised by civil society groups, with protesters calling for the scrapping of the Suspension of Operations (SoO) agreement with Kuki militant groups. The protesters also demanded the withdrawal of Assam Rifles from conflict-affected areas, the implementation of the National Register of Citizens (NRC) using 1951 as the base year, and the safe resettlement of internally displaced families. Organisers accused the authorities of failing to protect indigenous communities and restore lasting peace. At a public convention in Imphal, the rally adopted resolutions demanding the removal of Deputy Chief Minister Nemcha Kipgen, warning that the state government should resign if the demand was not met. The demonstrations come amid renewed tensions in a state that has been grappling with ethnic violence since May 2023.

lately. 🤎🤎 the past few weeks/months have been really confusing for me. i have days where i feel so grateful for the life we’ve created, and A LOT of days where i feel crippled by depression and anxiety. idk how much the lack of quality sleep is contributing, but lately things have felt unbearably heavy. i wanted to share this because i know there are moms who watch my motherhood content and probably think i have it all figured out when i don’t! i have a village. i have a supportive, active husband. and i STILL struggle. you don’t always see me yelling at my kids and having to apologize. or being mean to my husband when he doesn’t deserve it because i’m irritable and overwhelmed. 😓 a few minutes of our day will never tell the whole story. i’m grateful for the friends who check in. my neighbors and in-laws who show up and help. my husband who sees me in my darkest moments and still extends me grace. my kids who make me feel like the greatest mom in the world, even on the days i lose my shit and have to own it. i still have dark days and dark moments. i’m truly doing my best, and i’m looking forward to getting more help with this. 🤞🏾 if you’ve been feeling something similar, i see you. you can love your kids, appreciate your village, and still struggle with the weight of it all. two things can be true: you can be grateful for your life and still need help getting through your days. ***you don’t have to wait until you can’t take any more to ask for support !!** 🤎🤎🤎🤎
A moment of elegance before the world stage. Captured for the press conference of Victoria Kosasieputri @vkosasie ahead of her departure to represent Indonesia at Miss International 2026 in Japan. Dressed in a romantic couture creation, the look celebrates the beauty of femininity through a sculpted blush-pink corset, intricate embellishments, delicate floral appliqués, and exquisite embroidery. The silhouette embraces the softness of a blooming flower, while its intricate craftsmanship brings a sense of timeless elegance and modern sophistication. A beautiful expression of artistry, where fashion becomes more than what we wear — it becomes a story, an emotion, and an identity. Wishing Vicky all the best as she carries Indonesia’s pride, beauty, and spirit onto the international stage. 🇮🇩 LUMMI MAGAZINE Producer: @lennymtanu @exquisitemedia Photography: @denymirrorcle @raski92 Fashion stylist: @andreas_pao Fashion Designer: @whulyan Florist: @angiefior.id Makeup: @pupuuttss @mustikaratuind Hair: @rolandhairstyle Writter: @vivinfebry Manage by @bubahalfian @putri_k_wardani209 @anjani_kusuma @angkasamega @erik.akmal @januarcees @kelanalimster @artikasaridevi @baimguitar @faim_achmad
