If today feels heavy, take a slow breath with me. Here are the three things I always come back to when I need peace: 📖 The first is Truth. I quietly open the Word before anything else gets my attention. 🤝 The second is Connection. I reach for my people and let them hold me up. 🙏 The third, and always the deepest, is Prayer… if only for a moment, and let go. Share a prayer request below👇 and I’ll be praying over this thread tonight. 🤍 Send this to someone who could use a gentle check-in. 💌 #TruthConnectionPrayer #peacefortoday #livebyfaith #harrisfaulkner
Several Republican candidates and leaders responded to the party’s sweeping losses in the midterm elections on Tuesday. While President Trump attributed the defeat to the fact that he was not on the ballot, others in his party dismissed his explanation and pinned the blame on him. They cited Trump’s tariff policies. They pointed to his decision to take the country to an unpopular war in Iran that drove up prices. They questioned his political instincts, arguing that he had imperiled his party’s chances by supporting weak candidates and going on an unconvincing tour in the final weeks of the campaign. At the link in our bio, read more about how Republicans are diagnosing the party’s midterm failures.
