You are not a rehabilitation center for patriarchal conditioning. When you try to repair a rupture and he immediately shuts down or gets defensive, it is incredibly easy to internalize that as your personal failure. You over-explain, you soften your tone, and eventually, you shift into performing okayness just to keep the peace. But his defensiveness is not a communication issue. It is a structural one. We cannot talk about relational skills without naming patriarchy, the exact system that socialized men to avoid emotional accountability at all costs and conditioned them to prioritize being right over being connected. The myth we were taught is that if we just package our pain patiently enough, we can love someone into accountability. So we become the teachers, the mothers, and the unpaid therapists for people who refuse to do their own reading. The inequity is too high. What it costs you is your nervous system, and you cannot build a partnership alone. Men absolutely deserve to heal, and they deserve spaces to do that work. But you are not that space. It is time to practice love-centered limits. The Relational Skills for Liberation Workbook does not teach you how to fix him. It gives you the exact scripts and protocols to stop abandoning yourself just to keep him comfortable. Comment WORKBOOK below and I will send the direct link straight to your DMs to get the tools today. #relationalskillsforliberation
Bacon, Egg, Toast and I had quite an interesting night! They’re still dealing with a couple of health issues and they didn’t want to latch onto the bottle all night 😭 but thank goodness this morning, they decided to latch and finally eat a good meal 🥹🙏🏻 I don’t know where their mom is, but someone who probably meant well likely found them while she was off hunting or eating. If they were fully abandoned, they would be much sicker and would have already died. Now, there is a Mom cat out there stressed and looking for her kittens, and she will likely end up pregnant again within a week or 2 😭 If you find a little pile of kittens and they’re not in immediate danger, it’s best to leave them alone and wait for the mom to return. If you’re able to catch the entire family, that’s ideal. If it’s been a full day, and Mom has not returned, then you can pick up the kittens and get them to safety. Please get your pets fixed and always adopt instead of buying from a breeder so more innocent lives like these can be saved from overcrowded shelters 🐱🙏🏻 #adoptashelteranimal #orangekittens #fosterkittens #fosteringsaveslives

THIS IS WHY MISSISSIPPI MATTERS!!!!! It was an honor to sing Miss Black America with these beautiful young queens and they deserve a better Mississippi than I had at their age . THIS IS WHY WE VOTE ! Mississippi can either make history tomorrow or repeat it. LETS MAKE IT !!! REPOST !!!! #mississippimatters #mississippi #govote🇺🇸
Thuiskomen. Dat kon dus ook bij mezelf.
JESS MCCLAIN STEALS SECOND 🥈 Wow! Jess McClain with a massive kick at the end of the race to close the gap on Sheila Chepkirui and Hellen Obiri, beating Obiri in the end by one second with a time of 2:24:42. She has become the first American to secure an auto qualifier to the 2028 Olympics with her finish., FloTrack’s #NYCMarathon coverage is presented by @saucony
