One month ago, our family grew by one.

Welcome to the world, Lane Walker!

This past month has been one of the most emotional, exhausting, humbling, and rewarding months of our lives. What started as a birth plan quickly turned into a few unexpected days in the NICU, reminding us how precious and fragile life truly is. Thankfully, Lane Walker is home, healthy, and continuing to grow stronger every day.

I would be remiss if I didn’t give credit where it’s due. Watching Allie bring our son into this world and navigate everything that followed with strength, grace, and unwavering love has been nothing short of incredible. She is one amazing mother, and our boys are blessed beyond measure to have her.

One of the greatest gifts of this past month has been watching Nicholas become a big brother. Seeing the excitement in his eyes, the gentle hugs, the kisses on Lane Walker’s head, and the way he constantly wants to help has been something I’ll never forget. Watching him love someone else so deeply has reassured us that we’re pouring the right kind of love into our home.

Here’s to the first month, Lane Walker. We love you more than you’ll ever know.

Most importantly, we thank God for blessing us with this incredible life, for carrying us through the difficult moments, and for entrusting us with the privilege of raising these two boys. We are grateful beyond words and give Him all the glory.
