🏔️ SUMMITED! Went up to the highest peak in Southern California 🏔️
Yesterday, our stalwart crew of eight Hike Together SoCal members achieved something truly special: standing atop San Gorgonio Mountain, the highest mountain in all of Southern California at 11,503 feet.
The journey was not easy. As we approached the summit, powerful winds with gusts estimated between 30 and 40 mph swept across the exposed ridges and summit plateau. Despite the challenging conditions, our team pressed forward with determination, grit, and teamwork.
There is something profoundly rewarding about reaching the highest point in an entire region. Standing on the roof of Southern California, surrounded by endless mountain ranges and sweeping views in every direction, reminds us that some achievements are earned one step at a time.
This was more than just another hike. It was a monumental accomplishment, a test of endurance, and a reminder of what can be achieved when a dedicated group refuses to quit.
Congratulations to our incredible crew for conquering Southern California's highest peak and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
