Do our gifts define our life’s path? If you have the power to destroy, how do resist the pull towards destruction as its own end? Do you become the void? She is The Destroyer. Meet her July 29.
Preorder the Black Star comic before June 29 (yes, JUNE) at your local comic shop. See link in my bio. @blackstarseries

There were eight powers.
That they knew of.
Existing as light and shadow. A precarious tension balancing them.
For now.
They called themselves The Order of the Black Star.

The contrast between ‘The Destroyer’ and the question of whether we’re defined by our gifts is what caught my attention. The teaser feels less about power and more about identity, choice, and resisting a fate that seems predetermined. Also intrigued by the significance of VIII and the eight powers. I’d love to preorder, but I can’t find an order option for Thailand.
