Additionally: the Midlands has so many dang accents too. I can tell if someone's from Bham, Leicester, Nottingham, Lincoln, Derby... there's *nuance*, yo 😂

I grew up in Leicestershire but my accent is very, very mild. I've lived in both Bradford and Whitby and had the piss (lovingly) ripped out of me both times for being a "southerner". I swear, if youre either from the North or the South, the Midlands is a fairytale 😂
