Sometime between 10/31/26 and 11/1/26 my father, Charles Edwin Stallings passed in his sleep after a long battle with a myriad of health problems he’d been facing for some time. Charlie’s existence will be remembered in my eyes as being defined by ambition. His level of dedication to the concept of achievement is something I rarely see to his level and I was always very impressed with. It is easy to be proud of his many accolades, the list of which seems endless. When I was growing up our relationship at times was defined by mental sparring, the kind of debates that would come naturally to two strong willed individuals of the same genetic makeup. As I’ve thought about it, there could not be a more appropriate dance and cadence to our formative years together. No son of Charlie’s would be one to not dig their heels in, and him in kind. There were so many instances of him wanting to teach me life lessons that I wasn’t yet ready to hear or consider, but now hold as integral parts of my being, and I thank him for each and every one. He did so much for me and his family, even if he had lived decades longer I would never have been able to repay him for all his gestures. Before he passed he wrote a letter that included the aspect that he respected me. This was something I always sought from him and that simple sentence meant more to me than he probably knew, the man I respected above all other men. May his spirit live on in all the capacities he would have wanted it to. It certainly will in me and in my eternal love for my late father, Mr. Charles Edwin Stallings.

BECOMING HER AGAIN❤️ Not chasing perfection. Not setting unrealistic goals. Just choosing myself, one day at a time. Like many women, I’ve also experienced weight gain, struggled to find time for fitness, and wondered how to balance everything while taking care of myself. Being a doctor, a mother, managing work, family and all the little things in between… finding time for ME hasn’t always been easy. But here’s what I’ve realised: You don’t need a perfect routine, a perfect body or the perfect time to begin. You just need to begin. So, I’m officially starting this journey — not just to lose weight, but to become stronger, healthier, fitter and happier. And I don’t want to do it alone. To every woman who wants to get fitter but doesn’t know where to start, who keeps postponing her fitness goals, or who struggles to prioritise herself amidst a thousand responsibilities… Let’s do this together! ❤️ No crash diets. No unrealistic expectations. No giving up on life to get fit. Just small, sustainable changes, realistic workouts, mindful eating and showing up for ourselves. This is going to be about real women, real routines and real-life fitness. So, who’s ready to start this journey with me? If you’ve been waiting for a little push to begin your fitness journey, comment “I’M IN” below! Let’s motivate each other, grow together and become healthier versions of ourselves. Tag a friend who needs to start this journey with you! Welcome to BECOMING HER AGAIN. We are not starting over. We are starting stronger❤️ #momlife #women #womanhood #womenfitness
