Luck...
Some people search so desperately for luck that they overlook how much of it is already present in their lives. Perhaps they simply don't recognize it.
To me, it's a bit like four-leaf clovers. If you search for them too hard, you often won't find any. But if you focus on the many ordinary three-leaf clovers, the four-leaf ones sometimes seem to find you.
As a child, I apparently used to say about four-leaf clovers: "They disrupt the order." Maybe that's why I found them so easily.
Perhaps luck works the same way. If we focus only on what we lack or on the things that make us unhappy, we may overlook what is still beautiful. The little things we can be grateful for. The moments that bring us contentment.
And if there aren't any four-leaf clovers growing in this meadow today? Then you simply keep walking a little further — with your eyes open.
