🪞 Perspective Shift

I took this picture on a day that felt heavy.

I was in the middle of a high-conflict, stressful situation and realized I needed a break, so I went to the park.

Eventually, I laid down in the grass and started watching the clouds.

For a while, that was enough.

Then I looked over toward the playground.

And that's when I saw it.

A cross.

A seesaw.

Perfectly framed from where I was lying.

I remember thinking:

"Wow. That's beautiful."

And I took the picture.

What stayed with me later wasn't the image itself.

It was the realization that I never would have seen it from where I had been standing.

The cross was already there.

The seesaw was already there.

The view was already there.

The only thing that changed was my position.

Sometimes the situation doesn't change.

Sometimes the perspective does.

And somehow, that changes everything.
