MID-YEAR READING STATS! 📖💛

Books read so far: 27

Favourite read: It has to be The Correspondent which just won the @womensprize 🏆

Longest read: Middlemarch with 848 pages !! (Yes, it’s absolutely worth it)

Favorite classic: Tess of the D’urbevilles - what an incredible writer and a heartbreaking love story.

Biggest surprise: how much I’ve enjoyed the two memoirs I’ve read: Mother Mary Comes to Me and Famesick - I can highly recommend them both.

A new release I haven’t read yet: Land by Maggie O’Farrell!! I’m so excited to read it soon.

Most anticipated second half of the year release? I mean this year is just insane: a new Elisabeth Strout, Anne Patchett and Barbara Kingsolver? I cannot wait for them all.

Favourite new author: I read another book by Katie Kitamura (Intimacies) which I loved and I am now planning to read Separations as soon as possible. 😍

Please share your mid-year stats with me - are there any books here that would make your list? x

Absolutely loved Cape Fever. Whistler was sweet but I’ve enjoyed her other books more. Busy with John of John mow 🙌

Read Cape Fever. Reading Yesteryear (two-minded about whether I like this one though). Want to read The Correspondent

Teas is just the most devastating book. I adored Heart the Lover and The Correspondent as well
