What I really donβt understand is the fact that Emily knew that and when they finally get together she is so mean to Luke, treating him bad, made them broke up and brought Christopher into that to mess up more.

This is the sadness thing: Emily always knew it, always see Luke and Lorelai chemistry and know that They'll being on a relationship soon, but she's still trying to screwed-up everthing about this couple!!!
