Thank you so so much for the gifts @limitedrungames I’m so grateful if you’re a nerd and like nostalgia check them out 🖤🙏🏻
I think my smile says it all🥹❤️ Pure happiness. Pure gratitude. And a moment I wish I could hold on to forever. HYROX Hamburg — what a weekend!🖤 🥇 1st place in the Singles Challenger 🎟️ Qualified for the Elite 15 in London 🔥 4th place in my very first Elite Doubles race Looking at these results, I couldn’t be happier. But what made this weekend so special goes far beyond rankings, times, or podium finishes. It’s the people🫶🏽 The ones who believe in me, support me, push me, and celebrate these moments with me. Whether you were right there in Hamburg or cheering me on from home — I felt every bit of that support. Feeling the love and belief from @adidastraining , @blackroll , @esncom , and this incredible HYROX community honestly means more to me than I can put into words. I’m leaving Hamburg with so much positive energy, motivation, and confidence. But also with some valuable lessons and a clear picture of where I currently stand. Because as happy as I am with these results, I know there’s still so much room to grow. This weekend was also an important opportunity to see how the work with @osse205 an @smart_athlet is paying off, what we’ve already improved, and where we need to keep pushing over the next weeks and months. Proud of how far I’ve come. Grateful for everyone who’s part of this journey. And even more excited for what’s ahead. London, here we come🚀❤️ #behappy #beproud
The best surprise 40th birthday weekend ♥️ feeling very loved and very spoilt. The biggest thank you to my family and my girls, who, let’s be real, I would be lost without
HOW DELICIOUSLY EVIL 😈🤣 “Seed oils are industrial lubricants!” So is water. Please stop lubricating your opinions with bullshit. 😂 Let’s look at HUMAN evidence: 🔥 INFLAMMATION: Systematic reviews of randomized trials find that increasing linoleic acid, the main omega-6 fat in many seed oils, does NOT consistently increase inflammatory markers in HUMANS. (PMIDs: 22889633 & 28752873) ❤️ HEART DISEASE: Replacing saturated fat with polyunsaturated fat (PUFA) lowers LDL cholesterol. A meta-analysis of randomized trials found ~19% fewer coronary heart disease events with this substitution. What you REPLACE matters. (PMIDs: 37297374 & 20351774) 🧪 OXIDATION: “PUFAs can oxidize” does not establish that eating them increases oxidative damage in humans. Controlled trials increasing linoleic acid found no significant increase in measured lipid peroxidation or oxidative DNA damage. Your body is not a bottle of oil sitting on a windowsill. (PMIDs: 12399265 & 12504167) And the “only OXIDIZED LDL matters” crowd misses a crucial step: LDL enters the artery wall and gets RETAINED beneath the endothelium, where it can undergo oxidation and other modifications. Most LDL oxidation is thought to occur there; abundant antioxidants strongly limit oxidation in circulating plasma. (PMID: 19888833) More circulating LDL particles means more opportunities for arterial entry, retention, and subsequent modification. Oxidation doesn’t make LDL concentration irrelevant, it helps explain why retaining LDL is a problem & how much LDL gets retained is driven by its concentration in blood. PUFAs from seed oils reduce LDL (PMID: 17938300) 🫀 LIVER FAT: During matched overfeeding, saturated fat caused substantially more liver fat accumulation than PUFA, despite similar weight gain (PMIDs: 24550191 & 31369090) 📉 GLUCOSE CONTROL: A meta-analysis of controlled feeding trials found improvements in several glucose/insulin measures when PUFA replaced saturated fat (PMID: 27434027) You don’t need to chug canola oil. But replacing it with butter because an influencer yelled “INFLAMMATION” isn’t evidence-based nutrition. Fear is easy to sell. Human outcome data are harder to bullshit. 🤷‍♂️
Happy Halloween from the unthemed 😭Busby crew! How I miss all the days we all wanted to be a theme and dress so cool 🤪 but now it’s “dress in what you want” and also a teenager that goes with her friends … and I failed at getting a cute pic of her dressed up (as a bumble bee 🐝) . How times have changed, lol. But here’s to all the candy the girls got … 🤫that I’ll secretly combine it all and donate half of it to the school 😂 (they still don’t know I do this every year hahaha …quintuple the candy is just way too much candy ) Hope yall have a safe and fun night! 👻🎃 …… (Christmas prep starts ….tomorrow 🎄🫶🏻😂) #halloween #halloween2026 #itsabuzzworld
