“This film has a way of cracking people open.”

Melissa Barrera, Executive Producer of Traces of Home, reflects on the film and the emotions at the heart of its story.

Traces of Home is now available to watch at home on Apple TV, Prime Video, and Watermelon+ (U.S. & Canada)

He posted it himself, in his own words, with the heart-eyes for emphasis. He keeps his Texas residence at his parents’ house so he can turn Texas blue, because voting Democrat in New York City is like pissing into the ocean. Read that again slowly. A man who lives in New York is telling the world he votes in Texas, at an address where he does not live, because his vote counts for more there. If the boast is true, that is not a clever trick. That is voting where you do not live, and voting where you do not live is illegal in every state in the union, including Texas.

The law is not complicated, and it is not a technicality. You vote where you live. Your residence is where your life is, not where your parents keep a spare room and your mail piles up. If his bed, his job, and his days are in New York, then his parents’ Texas address is not his residence, no matter how much he wants the state to turn blue. Domicile is not a feeling and it is not a strategy. It is a fact, and facts have addresses. Wanting it does not make it legal. Posting it does not make it brave. It makes it evidence.

This is why the rolls matter, and why the residency rules matter, and why proof of citizenship and clean voter lists are not suppression but sanity. Every cycle the same people laugh at the idea that anyone would game the system, and every cycle someone posts the game plan in public with emojis. Texas has two days to decide a Senate race by a point or two. A point or two is exactly the margin a borrowed address is built to steal. Check the rolls. Enforce the law. The boast is already written down. All that is left is whether anyone does anything about it.

“المياه، المياه، المياه!
أمننا المائي أولوية وطنية، ولن نسمح بأن يكون ظمأ الأردنيين رهينة لأي ظرف، فلا مجال للمساومة أو المهادنة فيه.
وهنا أوجه الحكومة بالاستمرار بمشاريع الأمن المائي، والعمل على وضع خطط استباقية لحماية موارد الوطن، بما يضمن استدامتها وحقوق الأجيال القادمة”.

🚨 𝐂𝐑𝐀𝐙𝐘 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐒: Liverpool had 𝐙𝐄𝐑𝐎 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐒 𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐓 against Arsenal today! 🤯📉

Liverpool had 𝟎% 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲, with none of their 17 shots on target… zero saves for David Raya! 😴

Not the best day for Liverpool’s attackers. ‼️

Shiva | Poem by Sadhguru

Shiva

In lands far and near
The footprint of the Unseen One
Who is not, is not Absent
But absence of Vision for the obvious
That makes the most obvious Unseen
A Presence devoid of Persona
An all pervading Presence
A Presence without intent
But an Intelligence of the Beyond

My Beloved, My Breath and
My Being
